Life-Change Happens Here
Crosspoint is a church that believes in Jesus, has a heart for evangelism, and desires life transformation for people of all ages.
We are a contemporary, non-denominational Christian church, that is staff-led and elder protected. Overwhelmed by the gift of salvation we have found in Jesus, we welcome the lost, broken, and wounded. We deeply desire authentic worship, are passionate about the local church, and are on a mission to see the good news of Jesus Christ spread to every age and demographic in our community.
Our Story
Crosspoint Church was founded by Paul Castelli in September 2005 in Spring Hill, Florida, when he felt a deep calling and conviction from the Holy Spirit to reach the overwhelming amount of young families that were present in the community, but missing from church. At the first meeting, 10 people squeezed into Paul's living room and spent time praying for the future of Crosspoint Church—longing to be a church rooted in the gospel, with deep compassion for the lost in our community. During their time together they fervently prayed Isaiah's words according to Isaiah 61:1-3, that the Lord would use Crosspoint to bring life change to the lost, broken, wounded, and hurting.
How It Started
Crosspoint held its first launch meeting at Chick-Fil-A-Brooksville, in April of 2006, and its first public services in May 2006 at Central High School, but quickly moved to Challenger K8 School. For 15 amazing years, Crosspoint was blessed to operate as a mobile church holding public worship services at Challenger K8 School, fostering a long and strong relationship with the faculty and administration. Each week, year after year, hundreds of volunteers would unload trailers to set up a full church: from worship arts and production equipment, to hundreds of chairs, a full cafe in the lobby and a fully operating children's ministry.
How It's Going
Then, in 2014, we purchased property at the corner of Anderson Snow Rd and Corporate Blvd.
After finally breaking ground in 2020, we were forced to stop holding public services due to limited public gatherings being permitted.
In the fall of 2021, we were thrilled to hold our first public services in our first permanent campus. Since then, we've grown to an average Sunday attendance of well over 2,200 people worshipping Jesus together, in three separate services.
From 2005 until now, Crosspoint Church has been blessed to be obedient and be used by God to see over 6,200 men, women, and children come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!
Our desire to see life transformation in our community, in a relevant and practical way, drives us forward everyday for the cause of Christ!
"Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 3:13-14
THE BEST IS YET TO COME!
