Women’s Devotional – Day 11

Crosspointlive   -

We are all familiar with the term self-worth.

Self-worth is commonly defined as a sense of one’s own value, being good enough or worthy.

Where things often go wrong regarding our self-worth is when we try to achieve significance through the wrong things, such as, our achievements, our work, our bank accounts, our number of likes on social media, our Facebook followers and overall social status.

As children of the Most High God, we must come to understand that according to 2 Cor. 6:17a, we are called to come out from among them (the world) and to be separate. Our self-worth must only be found in the One who made us.

Psalm 139:14a

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and WONDERFULLY made.

  • We are God’s beautiful work of art.

Acts 17:28

For in Him we live and move and have our being…For we are also His offspring

  • He alone is our source. He breathed his breath of life into us! It all flows from Him.

Galatians 4:7

Wherefore you are no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

  • We are royal ladies! Heirs through Christ.

Prov. 31:10

Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies.

  • Our strength of character and compassion as women proves the high value of our worth!

Prayer

Holy Spirit I commit, yield and submit totally to you. As I step into this new day, I praise you Lord for every beautiful possibility that this day holds for me. I thank you for every unique gift you’ve given me. As I purpose in my heart to follow every step you order for me today, I decree and declare that I will see everything you created me to be. I stand in agreement with your word that I am made in your image, after your likeness, created in Christ Jesus unto good works so today and every day I stand strong in who I am and who  you’ve called me to be. In Jesus name. Amen.
