Day 8: Living as a Dangerous Gentleman

Scripture:

“Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called.” 1 Timothy 6:12

Victor Marx: “Men who refuse to be dangerous aren’t gentle, they’re cowards. Cowardice is not gentle: it’s passive violence. Cowardice – which includes passivity in the face of evil – is danger in the wrong direction. Cowards leave innocent people in the path of evil…”

Pastor Paul:  “A real man isn’t remembered for what he kept for himself but for what and who he fought for… fight for your faith, fight for your family, and fight for your brothers.”

Think It Through:

To be a “dangerous gentleman” is to be dangerous to the darkness and gentle toward the people God has placed in your life. It’s cowardice to stay silent when evil advances. God calls men not to be passive, but to be protectors. Warriors who fight the right battles, for the right reasons, with the right heart.

Do the Work:

Write down one way you will fight for your faith, one way for your family, and one way for your brothers this week. Share it with another man who will hold you accountable.

Prayer:

Lord, help me live as a dangerous gentleman: strong in battle, gentle in spirit, and faithful to You above all.
