Fight Night – Day Seven

Day 7: A Decision, Not an Intention
Scripture:
Joshua 24:15 – And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Devotional:
Men don’t change their lives with good intentions. They change their lives with decisions.
Good thoughts don’t move a life forward. Action does.
Following Jesus will cost you something. But not following Him will cost you everything. Every day, you are choosing what kind of man you’re becoming and what price you’re willing to pay.
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about direction. Today is an invitation to stop settling for empty wins and start living for what actually lasts.
Reflection Questions:
- What decision have you been delaying that God is asking you to make?
- What would obedience look like if you stopped overthinking it?
Action Step:
- Write down one clear decision you will act on this week and follow through. Tell a buddy to help keep you accountable.
Prayer:
Father God, I don’t want good intentions anymore. I want a changed life. I surrender it all to you. Give me courage to choose what lasts and walk it out. Amen.
